We’ve rolled out a fresh update to the NuperGaming Project Zomboid server, now running on Build 42.17.0, with a focus on improving performance, stability, and overall gameplay experience.
🚧 Why This Update Matters
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been closely monitoring server performance and player feedback. While content-rich mods add depth, they can sometimes come at the cost of stability—especially on a busy multiplayer server. This update is all about finding the right balance.
❌ Removed: Dynamic Traders + Addons
The Dynamic Traders system and its related addons have been removed.
While they brought an interesting economy layer to the game, they were unfortunately causing significant server lag and performance issues, particularly during peak hours. This led to delays, desync, and an overall less smooth experience for players.
Our priority is stability, so this change ensures a more consistent and responsive server.
✅ Added & Updated Mods
We haven’t just removed content—we’ve also added and improved several features:
🗺️ Persistent Map Exploration (Bug Fix Applied)
- Fixed issues where map exploration progress wasn’t saving correctly.
- Players can now reliably track explored areas across sessions.

- Introduces a new gameplay challenge with psychological effects.
- Adds depth to character roleplay and survival mechanics.
🕹️ Project Arcade + Addons
- Adds interactive arcade machines and fun side activities.
- A great way to unwind during the apocalypse (if you can survive long enough!).
